If you’re happy with the AI influencer you’ve created, the next step is to unlock their full potential by building a dataset with the Flux Kontext Model. This advanced tool can generate a rich variety of poses, facial expressions, and clothing styles—all derived from your original AI influencer image. By creating a diverse yet visually consistent set of images, you’ll have the perfect groundwork for training a Custom LoRA, ensuring your AI character maintains their unique look and personality in any scene, style, or setting.
This level of consistency is especially important if you plan to monetize your AI influencer, as it helps establish a strong, recognizable profile on platforms like Fanvue, making it easier to attract followers and start earning from your AI character.
But before we jump into creating a Custom LoRA, we first need to build that dataset—let’s do this together!
4. Build a Training Dataset with Flux Kontext
With your character design finalized, the next step is to create a high-quality training dataset. This dataset is crucial, as it will allow your AI model to accurately generate your character across a wide range of poses, expressions, and scenarios.
To start building the dataset, we’ll use the Flux Kontext Dev Model. This tool allows us to generate variations from individual images, so even a single close-up shot of your character can be transformed into multiple expressions, angles, or minor styling changes—all while preserving the character’s defining features. To see the full setup instructions and required downloads, you can click below to read the full article 👇.
Now, let’s move on to using Flux Kontext in ComfyUI to create these variations:
1. Load the Flux Kontext Dev Workflow
Start by loading the Flux Kontext Dev FP8 Workflow:
👉 Download the provided Flux Kontext Dev FP8 Workflow JSON file and drag it into your ComfyUI canvas.
2. Upload Your Initial Image
For this example, we’re using a close-up shot of our character to create additional close-up variations for the dataset. You can also use an upper body shot, full-body image, or other angles to generate variations—what you choose depends on the type of images you want in your dataset.
👉 Drag and drop your chosen image into the Image Input node in the ComfyUI workflow. We are using this close up shot:
This initial image will serve as the base for generating multiple variations while keeping your character’s defining features consistent.
3. Test with an Image-to-Image Prompt
When crafting your prompt, start by specifying what you want to stay the same—here, the character’s facial features, hair, and eyes. Then describe the aspects you want to change, such as the angle or expression.
Example prompt for a close-up variation:
Keep the character’s facial features, hair, and styling the same. Change her expression to a truly shocked look, eyes wide open, mouth fully open. Change her pose to be slightly side-viewed with hands near her face, bathed in warm, natural sunlight with perfect shadows highlighting her features, clean or softly blurred background, photorealistic detail, 8K resolution.
Using prompts like this, you can create multiple variations from a single image, building a richer dataset of expressions, poses, and angles while maintaining your character’s core identity. Here’s an example of the workflow output for our close-up variation:
Building Your High-Quality Dataset
Now, using the Flux Kontext Dev Model, you can efficiently create a high-quality, character-focused dataset. For this project, we have gathered 40 high-quality images, including:
-
10 close-ups highlighting facial features and expressions
-
10 upper-body shots showcasing posture, styling, and attire
-
20 full-body and angled shots capturing a variety of poses and perspectives
Below, you can see our full dataset—just to give you an idea of how a well-curated, high-quality dataset should look.
With your dataset fully prepared and organized, you now have a strong foundation to train your custom LoRA model. The high-quality images you’ve curated will ensure your AI model accurately captures your character’s look, expressions, and poses.
